CCSO will be hosting the first annual Golf Classic benefit. The event will be
held Monday, June 9, 2008 (rain date: June 23) at Ocean Edge, Brewster, MA. The
Symphony is inviting the community to Play Fore Music. The proceeds from the event
will benefit the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra which is dedicated to enriching and
furthering the cultural, educational and economic interests of the Cape Cod community.

Players in this event will be among the first to enjoy the new
Ocean Edge
Nicklaus Design Golf Course. The previous Ocean Edge course has been
completely overhauled through an extensive $8.5 million program. All
tees, fairways and greens have been remodeled and reshaped. The new
course is longer in length, is more playable, and it presents more
challenges for the player. It now holds the status of a private course,
and except for special events such as the CCSO Golf Classic, it is open
only to Ocean Edge club members and hotel guests.

Game Format
|
The CCSO Golf Classic will be a Bramble format. In this format, the members of each team tee off,
and the best drive is selected. All players resume play from the point of the best drive and
continue playing their own ball until each has holed out, thus producing four individual scores.
Note: Players must specify handicap on Registration Form.
